2019 Straight Out Of Paso White Blend

Straight Out Of Paso Rhone White

Blend: 51% Roussane, 35% Marssanne, 14% Clairette Blanche

Grape varietals that originated from the Rhône Valley in France have found a perfect second home here in Paso, and for good reason: they love soaking up the sun, ripening fully while basking in our warmth, and once picked, they show us loads of juicy summer fruits. This Rhône White Blend is forged according to French tradition, with oak aging that softens the mouthfeel and makes this wine great on its own, while also having a deft hand in pairings with seafood, salads, and soft cheeses. Pour this beauty and expect notes of Meyer lemon, apricots, orange zest, and brioche, harmonized by an approachable, tame acidity.

2020 Can't Stop Grenache

100% Carbonic Grenache
Denner Vineyard, Willow Creek District
This wine, vinified via carbonic maceration, is a definitive porch pounder with a light red body that you grab from the fridge on a hot day. It’s light bodied, yet complex—taking advantage of the carbonic method’s inclination to show an unmistakable gumdrop character that underpins loads of small fruits, such as cherry, raspberry, blue and blackberries, and that’s just to start. Delving deeper into a taste of Can't Stop, a bouquet of florals presents you with hints of lavender, jasmine, saffron and rose petals. Don’t miss out on this popular new take on a classic Paso varietal!

THE WINE

Rhone varietals have quickly become some of the most sought out wines from our region. Carignan has made quite the comeback recently as an all-star varietal and we are showing that it can be a powerful and compelling addition to the traditional GSM blend. A beautiful color and lively acidity makes room for generous raspberries and blackberries to unfold along a path lined with bouquets of lavender and rosemary. Its depth and complexity is stunning, considering how nimble it is on the palate. This medium - full bodied wine will compliment any dinner table!
